13 around K24 this morning

Sunday am

15 browsing amonst the trees around I32. The fence at the Alexander Road gate could do with restapling, someone has been trying to part the wire from the post, over the last couple of days.

20 in a herd next to the lake of dead trees

All seen today.

Spent a couple of hours tracking the cattle down this afternoon and eventually found them all. They were split into 3 herds just to keep me on my toes!

All looking really well and the interloper seems to be enjoying the company! Two fresh licks were put out as well which were gratefully received.

At about midday I noticed, to my surprise, that some dozen of the herd had taken advantage of the building off the car park on the Bourley Road turning it into a cowshed in which they looked very comfortable.

Friday

24 animals in a group but reasonably spread out on Sandy Hill by Bricksbury. All looking content and well.

Tuesday

All the animals seen to day and the numbers have now been corrected on the blog and barring any jumping shenanigans should remain correct!

The imposter is still there!  He's the one that looks at you like your about to put him in between two buns and chow down!

Encountered 15 around pits at western end of area at about midday.

Friday and sunday

Between Friday and a second visit Sunday I managed to get a total of 20 cows in CC though 1 of these was the imposter!!!

I have ten on GCA next door though 1 of the numbers is down as being on CC.

Its  a little confusing at the moment and I hope to get the numbers resolved this week.

21 spotted

11 and 10 found between the petrol station entrance and beacon hill entrance

Found most of them....

Found 23 in three locations: by the corral off Beacon Hill Road, spread out along Sandy Hill track and along Long Bottom track. Extras found: 100056 and 200014.  Numbers 102593, 500067 and 500081 not seen.

Just a few

Two were near the gate opposite the Shell Garage and another 10 were near the corral at Beacon Hill - one of the 10 was the grey rather shaggy one, who I think might be the Cranstone one. 

A bit late in the day to make this entry but early this afternoon I came across ten mostly lying down in Long Bottom some 300 yards below Horse Pond.

Friday am

6 quietly grazing in Long Bottom, around K27

 

21 of 23 found.

I found 21 of the herd immediately by the corral at the top of Beacon Hill Road.  I checked them all over and gave them two feed block licks which they started to fight over.

I drove around the site for an hour hoping to find the others but failed.  Having just seen Thomas' blog I am pleased to read that they were well and hiding from me - little buggers!

21 in a large herd by the beacon hill coral and three in the bushes by the tree filled pond.

Saturday evening, fence was damaged by Pavilion Road entrance. Reported to Elliott, who came to fix. Sunday morning, all repaired. Quick work!
