From the look out point we saw a few cows near where the gate is to the restricted area. They were heading towards the Bourley road car park. No more seen.
The moor hens on Horse pond have two chicks.

None seen on our walk but I did see one as we passed the Cranmore road gate, next to the nursery. It might of been one of the Gelvert mob, I didn't get a good look.

Gelvert 4 found at ///sprinkle.usage.hobbist making their way around to the dome reservoir, all seemed content. We found 155 Electra, 165 Elaine and 147 Ezra on the high ground ///neutron.squashes.secures. walking towards Sandy Hill. all 3 troubled with the flies although 165 Elaine is really having a bad time but her eyes did not look infected as can be seen in the photos.

Found 11 at unhelpful.reshaping.flame all hoovering acorns.
Another 4 found at keep.awakening.ahead by the pill box.
Final 4 found at James bond pond, civic.buildings.enlarge.
We found 6, including 940, 159 and no tag, in the gorse along the path from James Bond skirting Caesers Camp, ///steers.elect.twigs and ///engraving.spilled.oppose. They seemed to be content eating grass and the oak trees and there are not as many flies about today. Stay Safe, Marina & Des
9 happily grazing at 10.45 at Issues.boom.beakers, at the reservoir not far from Shell Garage
Having walked from Sandy Hill around the ponds to Caesers Camp then down through the woods to Horse pond we found the 4 youngsters munching away in the ferns ///neon.hairpin.nips. Three of them then moved off up the path ///wolves.storming.stray leaving one behind but he/she seemed to be alright. Sadly they all had lots of flies around their faces. None of the original herd seen.
On this wonderfully cool misty morning we found 3 cows at w3w pebbles.configure.hotels. 940 came and licked my hand for some reason best known to him. Buzz (035) and the black and white without a tag make up the 3 and all seemed to be irritated by the flies. Apart from that they were eating and moving towards James Bond pond. none of the others seen. Stay Safe, Marina & Des
The four youngsters 9the jumpers) were grazing near the handgate at the western end of Sandy Hills, keeping a safe distance from a group - six brown and white ones, 940, 155 and another two blacks (one of which seemed to be missing ear tags, but I was keeping a distance ....) - most of whom were having an argy bargy about something - lots of head butting, mounting and circling - may be the hot weather has got to them too!
But a lovely evening up there
We parked on Bourley Road for a change and found the 4 youngsters laying in and by the shed looking very tired. As we walked around to Horse Pond we saw 7 in the long grass, eating and seeming content w3w passport.warthog.gurgled. Flies a bother for them and the shed four. On the way back the 4 where all standing in the shed not looking happy, not eating and not near any water. None of the others seen.
No cow sighting today but did spend 10 very happy mins sat watching a kingfisher at Horse pond. Our walk was from Sandy Hill down to Long Bottom, along to Horse pond. Around that and up through the woods to the main path/road way passed James Bond and back round to Sandy Hill. Stay Safe, Marina & Des
