Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Friday 6th March - 21 seen

     Between 08:30 - 11:00

    Found 21 today,

19 were at ///conductor.shielding.hints this group included 3 Sussex’s 1626, 197 and 1640. Also here were the ever friendly 222 and 228 as well as Brie and Sarah. All were content grazing on the grass and heather. 1626 was trying to get a bit too friendly with 214 but she not interested. The pair of them headed off towards horse pond and on to the sandy bowl.

I then found 219 and 021 at ///sounds.grunt.shorthand they were both eating the gorse.

    Unfortunately, despite a good search I could not find 210, 211, 212 and 1396.

The cattle found this morning were all good
