Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

We found the G4 making their way to ///croutons.extreme.dignitary where we also found a large caterpillar photo below 50p for size reference does anyone know what it is, we are sadly lacking in knowledge in this area. The youngsters same well eating and not bothered by flies. We then carried on round to Caersers Camp and found 4 from the herd, Bertie, Barry, Balti and Buzz, ///slick.betrayal.skidding. again eating well and no flies to speak of. Barry was enjoying an oak tree, having a scratch and eating any part he could reach.

    Stay Safe, Marina & Des

    1. Hello, I've sent the picture of your caterpillar on to the rest of the team -we have quite a few moth experts so I will let you know if someone manages to identify it!

      Thanks

    2. Hi Marina,

It is a Fox moth caterpillar: https://butterfly-conservation.org/moths/fox-moth

I can't take credit for the ID - one of our colleagues, Graham, knew what it is.

      Rich.
