Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Sunday 13th March - All 17 seen

    Youngsters 213, 219, 226 and 235 were all grazing on the side of Sandy Hill in the area around ///hubcaps.gains.sharpen at 16:00 this afternoon.  

    Older cattle 21, 33, 35, 72 and 940 plus youngsters 217, 220 and 228 were all grazing among the trees in the area around ///blackmail.blending.ships.   They were quite widely spread out.

    The other five were seen at ///hobbyists.spicy.softly near the Horse Pond.  They were mainly stood chewing their cud but cows 30, 221, 222 and 230 started grazing on the slope at the bottom of Sandy Hill.  Cow 20 wandered to the pond to have a drink and then stood at the side of it chewing his cud.

    They were all good.
