At 12:15 this afternoon, a mixed group of sixteen cattle was gathered near the fenced-off area on their favourite Sandy Hill corner. Despite the chilly weather, they appeared happy, chewing their cud and relaxing. Several came over to say hello and were happy to have the gorse brushed off their backs. While they seemed a bit disappointed at not being able to lie down, they were being very obedient by not passing the Footway Closed signs.
By 12:35, older steers 33 and 35, along with yearlings 270 and 271, were happily grazing on heather on the hill near ///insist.darts.curries. Youngster 217 was relaxing and chewing his cud a little to the southwest, while steer 30 was drinking from a large puddle. All were looking happy and healthy.
Youngster 230 was grazing on the side of Sandy Hill near ///ships.treaty.awesome a short time later. He wandered over to say hello, before enjoying a back scratch. Meanwhile, youngster 227 was at the foot of the hill, munching on gorse. They were both happy, relaxed and looking well.
The cows were all good today.
