Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Friday 23rd January - All 24 seen

     Between 08:30 - 10:45

The first group of 9 were at ///pots.sharp.unscathed which is at the eastern end of Sandy Hill Road. This group included Brie, all were very wet while they concentrated on the gorse. The group were 020,219,234,030,228,271,940,214 and 270

The second group of 5 were just west of horse pond at ///successor.comedians.violinist. The five here were 227,021,220,217 and 230. They were busy foraging for acorns.

The third group of 10 were near the Shell station at ///fooling.consented.community. This group included the 6 Sussex’s and 222,072,033 and 035. Unfortunately 4 of the Sussex’s and 033,035 were so far into gorse I couldn’t get in to have a close look at them.

All the cattle were good this morning despite being drenched by the rain.
