Friday 7th January - All 17 seen

Further to Marina's earlier update, all seventeen cattle were seen grazing or chewing their cud in the trees around ///slacker.thundered.blur at 14:00 this afternoon.   They were all good.

Cow 21, while still limping, did seem to be moving better than he was on Wednesday.  He descended slowly and carefully down the side of the hill to cross the path to get into the trees. The others all went before him, grazing on the bushes as they came down.  I watched him from afar for over 20 minutes while he was grazing among the trees, and he was able to put his weight on his ankle as he was munching on the undergrowth.  Hopefully he is on the mend.

Friday 7th Jan All seen

 We found all 17 cows on Ceasers Camp ///brighter.adjuster.meaning. 15 were in the open, one of the youngsters was in a gorse bush and 021 was further back along the path still limping. Stay Safe, Marina & Des

Wednesday 5th January - All 17 seen

Further to the earlier update, the mixed group of eleven were all busy grazing in the sunshine in the area around ///lungs.anguished.chosen at 12:30.   They were all good.

The mixed group of six (older cows 21, 30, 35 plus yearlings 213, 221 and 228) were all grazing in the area around ///junction.flattens.prelude at 13:20.  Cow 21 was initially grazing with a pronounced limp, but he decided to lie down and take the weight off his sore ankle.   The other five were all good.

I let a couple of concerned gents from Landmarc know that 21 had sprained his ankle, that HIWWT were aware, and that Grace had visited him this morning to check him out.  They had been approached by some members of the public.

All 17 found, group of 11 adults and yearlings in the forest East of the look out over the valley. Remaining 6 found near the shell entrance by the water tower. 

21 seems to have sprained her ankle, she is putting weight on it gingerly. I've had a look under her hoof where she's held it up there's nothing caught or bothering her. We'll keep an eye on her. 

Tuesday- fence fixed and only 6 cows found. 21 was limping and has been reported to the grazing team who will come out and look at him

The wood insert next to the chained up gate where the hammer was left has been taken down approx /// catch.butterfly.layered. It is the first gate after the Sandy Hill heading towards the Shell garage. We have put red and white tape across but that wont hold much. 

All cows seen in same area where Gordon found them Saturday, in and around the woods and Sandy Hill between ///wooden..elders.extensive. and  ///cafe.vegetable.landscape. All look well, some of the youngsters calling to their friends, grazing, and just looking about. Stay Safe, Marina & Des

All seventeen cattle were seen in the area around ///ascendant.rewrites.printout at 15:45 this afternoon.  They were all busily grazing deep in the trees and gorse.  They were all good.
