Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Sunday 6th February - 11 seen

One more today than yesterday, but still wasn't able to find the whole gang.  Older cows 20, 21, 33, 35 and 940 were all seen grazing on the slope of Sandy Hill in the area around ///recruiter.newspaper.couriers at 11:00 this morning.  Cows 30, 72, 213, 221, 222 and 235 were all grazing at ///hampers.headings.rental.  They were in and out of the gorse bushes.  The other five wandered along to join them.

The same eleven had descended Sandy Hill and were at ///soups.muted.emeralds at 13:30.  20 and 35 were lying down in the bracken, the others were standing in the sun chewing their cud.

Despite a good walk around the site, the other six couldn't be found.
