Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Saturday 7th May - All 27 seen

Yearling 238 was seen having a drink from the James Bond pond.  Cows 241, 242 and 257 were standing close by chewing their cud.  The other six newbies were found munching on the new grass at the bottom of the Lookout, in the area around ///broken.grasp.shadowing a while later.

Despite an exhaustive search of Caesar's, I was having no success in finding the original seventeen cows.  I was about to admit defeat when cow 21 emerged from the trees at the Royal Pavilion end of the site.  I decided to follow him and he kindly led me to the others :).  Youngsters 217, 219, 220, 221, 222, 228 and 230 were lying down amongst the trees at ///smashes.above.logo.  Cow 235 was standing close by.  The other eight were all grazing close by in the area around ///neon.branded.crops.

All the cattle were good today.
