Cows 30, 35, 72, 213, 217, 219, 222, 226, 228, 235 and 940 were all lying down enjoying the warm sunshine in the area around ///stray.unearthly.iteration at 12:10 this afternoon. They were all either relaxing and chewing their cud or having a little snooze.
Cow 21 was grazing by himself in the area around ///shopper.mills.bulky fairly close by a short while later.
Youngster 221 was munching on gorse in the area around ///push.sprouting.polo near the Lookout at 12:40. Youngster 230 was standing close by, chewing his cud.
Older cows 20 and 33 plus youngster 220 were buried deep in the gorse bushes around ///played.immune.earl a short while later.
The same kissing gate on Sandy Hill that I flagged back on 21st January is broken again. This time it has been pushed beyond its front arm and is being held by a thin piece of rope (photo below). Have made HIWWT staff aware.
The cows were all good today.
