Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Tuesday 4th July - All 19 seen

The original fifteen Caesar's cows were all back together and were lying down in the area around ///dream.diets.toolbar at 16:25 this afternoon.  They were mostly resting and chewing their cud.  However, a few were having a little afternoon snooze.  They were all very relaxed and looked well.

Much later, and after some very much needed sustained heavy rain, I eventually caught sight of the four British Whites on the move down near the Bourley Road/Gelvert fence line.  I wandered down to meet them, and they had made it to the area around ///clan.owners.flitting where they were grazing.  I think they were surprised to see me!  Despite the rain, they all looked good and seemed to be settling into their new home.  Hopefully they are finding their feet and keeping a low profile until they are ready to meet the rest of the herd.

It was lovely to welcome Guinevere (214), Geebe Hebe (215), Gypsy (227) and Gangster (234) to Caesar's Camp.

The cows were all good this evening.
