Cows 72, 217 and 219 were seen grazing in the area around ///lawn.swooning.study at 12:40 this afternoon. Even though it was rather cold, they all seemed happy eating in the sunshine.
Cow 217 was seen again standing chewing his cud at the side of a gorse bush around ///those.clouds.stalemate at the Shell Garage end of site at 13:25. Cows 33, 72, 213, 219 and 221 were all spread out, buried in gorse bushes happily munching away. I initially missed cows 21 and 220, but found them on the way back.
Youngsters 222, 226 and 230 were huddled together relaxing and chewing their cud at ///event.elbow.conjured a while later. Cows 235 and 940 were close by, also lying down. Cows 30 and 35 were standing chewing their cud, but cow 30 soon lay down.
Cows 20 and 228 were eating gorse from bushes around ///cactus.laughs.flats a short while later.
Horse Pond and James Bond Pond were both frozen, but I was able to break the ice fairly easily. I also broke the ice on numerous large puddles as I made my way around the site.
The cows were all good today.
