The cows were all found in the area around ///roaring.sublime.dunk on Sandy Hill at 10:20 this morning.
Youngsters 213, 219, 226, 228 and 235 were busy munching on grass. They were a little damp but were drying out quickly in the sunshine.
The others were all spread out and were buried deep in the gorse bushes on either side of the path. After a while, they all came out and stood in the sun while relaxing and chewing their cud. They then went back to eating grass and more gorse.
Older cow 35 and youngster 226 had moved on to grazing on the slope of Sandy Hill on the far side of the gorse bushes by 10:50. Others soon followed them.
By noon, the cows had started to lie down, relax and chew their cud in the area around ///jets.reverses.ferried.
Youngster 217 had a little scratch on his lower right leg today. It wasn't causing him any issues, and he was wandering around fine. I mentioned it to Sean from the Reserves Team, who I met as I was leaving the site.
All the cows were good today.
Nice to have bumped into you today! And thanks for the tip off on location!
