Youngster 219 thoroughly enjoyed a long neck and shoulder rub before settling down. By 10:50, cow 212 had wandered along to join the group. Everyone was content and in good condition.
At 11:10, the final three Sussex cattle were lying down in the heather northeast of James Bond Pond, near ///tolls.shot.ambitions, peacefully chewing their cud. Even while resting, cow 211 loved a long ear and neck rub. All three were happy and relaxed.
By 11:35 the cattle from the fourth group had all settled down to chew their cud. Cow 212 had wandered up the slope to Sandy Hill to continue her grazing. Meanwhile, the three steers from the first group were grazing westwards, just past the pillbox, likely on their way to join her.
