Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Friday 6th June - All 25 seen

     Between 07:00 - 09:45

All cattle seen this morning in 2 main group

The first group of 19 including Sussex 1626 were scattered between the aldershot end of the site ///punt.grants.tins and ///full.quarrel.badley towards the  Bourley Road. They were all happily grazing on the the grass and leaves from tree branches. All looked good although rather wet with early rain shower.

5 of the Sussex’s were to the north of horses pond at // plan.hoping.limit 3 were laying down chewing their cud with the other 2 eating the heather and bramble leaves. Again, they all looked well and contented.

The last Sussex was found, 1640, was found on his own at // rips.vast.trains which is between the horses pond and the sandy open area. He seemed to be fine eating leaves.

All the cattle were looking good this morning.
