Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Monday 2nd June - All 25 seen

     Between 07:30 - 10:00

I was out and about early this morning as the larger of the 2 groups, 20 in total, were across the road from where I live. They were at the Aldershot end of the site ///light.rises.wings They all looked good and we’re enjoying the early morning sunshine. Most were laying down while others were eating the grass. Only 3 of them had the sense to lay within the trees making the most of the shade. This group included 2 of the Sussex’s.

The remaining 5 Sussex’s were found near to the horse pond at ///feelers.beaks.slamming. Like the rest they were enjoying the grass and looked like they were heading in the direction of the larger group.

By the time I returned to the first group 7 of them had begun making their way towards the Bourley road.

All the cows looked good today with no obvious signs of discomfort.
