Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Friday 7th November - All 25 seen

     Between 07:00 - 09:00

All have been seen this morning in two main areas,

The first group I found were west of horse pond at ///snoozing.eagle.clicker, making their way towards the Farnham end of the site. They were all on or near the main path only making off the path to eat acorns and graze on the grass.

The second group were heading from the north/east of horse pond towards the James Bond pond although they hadn’t got that far when I found them. Some of them were difficult to inspect properly as they had managed to get right into the middle of the gorse.

All that I could see properly were in lovely condition and clearly enjoying the run of the site again.

I know Kiran mentioned this yesterday but I had also noticed that the corner of the tracker map goes over the path preventing the cows from going forward. It just needs a bit of fine tuning to take the fence away from the path. This is at the far east end of Sandy Hill Road. Many Thanks.
