At 09:30 this morning, a group of eight cattle were found near ///town.troll.sweat, in the pasture northeast of Horse Pond. Five were spread out, lying down and chewing their cud in the sunshine, while the other three grazed in the surrounding area. They were all very friendly and enjoyed plenty of strokes and rubs.
At 11:05, the other seventeen were gathered near the grassy area among the woodland and thicket at the Royal Pavilion end of the site. Most were lying down, relaxing and chewing their cud, with a few grazing in the thicket. Before long, they all lay down to rest. Several came over for back and shoulder rubs before settling beside me. Youngster 227 enjoyed a long back rub, before fully stretching out for a belly rub. Youngster 230 was lying down alone under the trees, but was completely fine, enjoying some peace and quiet before relishing a long neck, chin and back scratch. They were all happy, relaxed, and looking well.
I said my goodbyes just after 12:35 leaving them resting peacefully.
