Steers 21, 30, 33 and 271, along with cows 72, 214 and 940 were all lying down and relaxing in the bracken under the Lookout near ///wisely.bump.drawn at 09:35 this morning. They were a bit damp, but all looked well.
By 09:50, Shetland steers 217, 219 and 271, along with Sussex steers 197, 1626 and 1640, and cow 211, were grazing near ///famed.vegans.endlessly. The Sussex cattle were all enjoying the heather. Sussex steer 210 and cows 211 and 1396 were grazing a bit further south. Cow 211 came out of the thicket to greet me, happily accepting a long neck rub. She game me some affectionate head rubs and licks in return.
Despite the frequent heavy rain showers, steers 220, 222, 227 and 228 were grazing near ///cheerily.badge.vows at 10:20. Steer 230 had taken shelter deep in a gorse bush, but he came out to say hello and be checked. Although very wet, the boys were in good spirits. Unable to find the last two, I headed towards James Bond pond in search of them. Having no luck, I returned to the original area at 10:50 and found cow 234 grazing near the path at ///streetcar.ratio.pools, with older steer 35 munching on leaves in the nearby bushes. He soon emerged and began grazing in the thicket. Both were doing well.
The cows were all good today.
