Between 06:00 - 08:15
All have been seen in two groups this morning, the first group of 17, including the 7 Sussex’s were to the north/west of JB pond. All were good, busy grazing on the heather and a few having a bit of a lay-in. At approximately 06:00 this morning they weren’t being bothered by the flies.
The second group were in the boggy area between the lookout and the covered dome. They all looked to be well but due to the wet land I couldn’t get close enough for a proper inspection.
On the way back to my car I came across some of the first group who were now being bothered by loads of flies.
Apart from the flies they looked happy, relaxed and content with life.
At 15:00 this afternoon I located the 7 that were in the boggy area this morning, all were good except for the amount of flies pestering their faces. Also noted the 214 and 234 had managed th lose their tracking collars. So along with Sussex 211 there are now 3 without their tracking devices.
