Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Monday 25th August - all 25 seen

     Between 06:00 - 08:30

All have been seen this morning in two groups of 13 and 12.

The first group were just south of James Bond pond at ///spearhead.unscrew.cucumber. This group included the Sussex’s. All were well, enjoying the early morning sunshine, eating the heather, grass and gorse so a nice varied breakfast! They were gradually making their way in the direction of the Shell petrol station.

The second group were to the west of sandy bowl at the Aldershot end of the site at ///lakes.almost.rich this group included the two whites without collars and also 222 with his head injury. It is still nicely covered with the blue antiseptic applied by Alice yesterday. He is also benefiting from lack of flies. He also enjoyed a long back rub and didn’t seem bothered about his head wound.

All the cows were good this morning
