A mixed group of twelve cows were all found in the area around ///exams.duos.spun at 17:10 this afternoon. Cow 21 was happily grazing in the sunshine. The other eleven were all lying down, resting and chewing their cud. They all looked very relaxed. Cows 20, 33 and 271 got up and had a stretch, chewed their cud a bit more before lying back down. Cow 21 had joined the main group and was lying down twenty minutes later.
I was just about to head off in the direction of Horse Pond at 17:35 when out of the corner of my eye I saw the missing three, youngsters 220, 228 and 230, come wandering through the thicket, having come from the direction of Hungry Hill. Youngster 220 gave a loud moo when he emerged and saw the other twelve cows lying down. All three continued to graze for a while, before lying down to relax and chew their cud.
The cows were all good this evening.
