Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Sunday 11th June - All 15 seen

The cows love making me do my steps on a Sunday 😀.  This week, after a very long walk around Caesar's, I found them right back at the very start of my search at Bourley Road.  Again, they weren't being put off by the army, who were still using their shed and who were shooting and letting off flash bangs in the area to the right of the shed.

The cows were well spread out in little groups and were wandering around munching as they went.  Youngsters 222 and 230 were found grazing amongst the trees around ///knees.prowl.ironic at 12:55.   Cows 30, 72, 219, 220, 228 and 940 were all grazing in the thicket in the area around ///diamonds.delays.record.  Cows 20, 21, 33, 35, 217, 270 and 271 were all found grazing in the area around ///splinters.ledge.driver.

Slowly they started to come together, before wandering off west along the path by Bourley Road at 13:45.

The cows were all good today.
