Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Sunday 19th November - All 19 seen

Cows 217, 220, 228, 234 270 were happily grazing around ///breaches.soils.freed at 09:20 this morning.  Cows 20, 21, 30, 33, 35, 72 and 940 were spread out, grazing a bit to their south-west.  They were eating gorse and heather in the sunshine.  Older steers 20 and 33 soon stopped and began to relax and chew their cud.

Cows 214, 215, 219, 222, 227, 230 and 271 were all grazing among the trees in the area around ///waxing.cools.mimes next to the Bourley Road at 09:45.  They were all happy and relaxed and were enjoying their breakfast.

Just after 10:00, the two groups joined up and continued to graze in the area around ///bleaker.ledge.rate.  The cows were widely spread out and were grazing in groups of two's and three's.  They were all looking really well today, and it was nice to see them dry.

The cows were all good this morning.
