The cows were still in the same two groups they have been in for the past few days.
Youngsters 227 and 230 were grazing along the high ground at the side of James Bond Pond at 10:00. The other eight cows were grazing either side of the small hill that runs north to south through the pasture. Soon after, a military exercise played out right in front of us, with a single soldier hiding behind the hill and a squadron advancing from the west. The cows calmly got out of the way and moved north-east to the area around ///rift.knees.sprayed, where they continued to graze. They were completely fine and were all looking well today. Several wandered up and said hello, including youngster 222 who was very friendly today.
Cow 214 and steers 228 and 271 were grazing along the side of the path around ///ripen.reduce.trains at 10.40. The six other cows were all grazing in the gorse bushes in the area behind. They slowly came out and said hello. This group were all happy and looking well. They started to gather around ///diver.quintet.tram near the Gelvert entrance at 11.05. Most continued to eat gorse, with a few having a drink from some of the puddles before relaxing and chewing their cud.
Gate 19 down near the Bourley Road was locked when I checked it earlier this morning.
The cows were all good today.
