Despite the light rain, steers 20, 30, 217, 219, 220, 222, 227, 230, 270 and 271 plus cow 940 were all found at the Royal Pavilion end of the site in the area around ///goad.gift.often at 16.40. Some were lying down resting, while others were standing and chewing their cud. They were all happy and relaxed. Steers 21, 33, 35 and 228 plus cows 214, 215 and 234 were grazing in the wooded areas to the side of them. Slowly they came out and joined the others. Cow 215 had another tick bite on her left side.
Cow 72 was grazing alone further to the north in the wooded area beside the Bourley Road a good while later. She was absolutely fine and appeared to be enjoying some quiet time. As I was wandering back after checking her, steers 20, 21 and 35 plus cow 940 were making their way down to her location, munching on leaves from the trees as they went.
Sussex steers 210 and 1626 were grazing in the wooded area near ///photo.shark.cross at 17.15. The other five Sussex cattle were grazing together a little further to the west around ///admit.upon.fork. They were all happy, relaxed and looking well.
The cows were all good today.
