The cows were all still together and were found in the area around ///sunk.regal.liners at the far southwest corner of the site at 16:00. The vast majority were located under the trees. Most were lying down, relaxing and chewing their cud. There were a large number of flies bothering them today. The cows would occasionally get up and have a stretch before repositioning and lying back down.
Sussex cow 212 plus steers 197, 210 and 1640 along with British White steer 227 had completely buried themselves in the bracken at the northwest corner of the trees. They were all good and were either chewing their cud or having a snooze. They were all absolutely fine with me coming and checking them.
The cows were all happy and relaxed and didn't seem particularly bothered about the loud flying display at the air show. I stayed with them until around 16:45.
The cows were all good today.
