Older steers 21 and 33 were grazing in the area around ///hands.sprayer.dusts at 10:10 this morning. They were both happy and relaxed. It was cooler today, with a light breeze, which meant considerably fewer flies.
Sussex steers 210 and 1626 plus cows 211, 212 and 1396 were found grazing around ///tabs.hurls.prouder at 10:25. They were all looking well.
Thirteen of the Caesar's originals plus the four British Whites had wandered east along Sandy Hill to their favourite corner at 10:40. They had all started to graze, enjoying lots of fresh grass. Pretty soon, they started to lie down and rest. Youngster 228 led the way. Most of the cows chose to relax and chew their cud, with a few preferring to rest their eyes. There was no sign of the red mark on cow 72's underside today. The cows were all looking good.
While searching for the missing Sussex steers 197 and 1640, I passed by this group again at 11:50. By now, all seventeen were lying down, relaxing. Youngster 217 was stretched out, lying on his side.
Steers 197 and 1640 were found at the northeast corner of James Bond pond around ///adding.ruffling.corn at 12:30. They slowly wandered west along the side of the main path, grazing as they went. They were enjoying lots of leaves from the various bushes as well as some fresh grass. By 13:00, they had reached the far end of the pond and had turned southwest, stopping off to graze around ///gashes.dried.tried before continuing onwards. I said goodbye to them at this point.
The cows were all good today.
