Thirteen of the Caesar's originals and the four British Whites were wandering east along Sandy Hill at 17:50. They stopped to graze in the pasture before crossing over to their favourite Sandy Hill corner, where they enjoyed plenty of grass. Steer 227 was his usual friendly self and came to say hello and receive an ear rub. It was nice to see him back with the three girls. Shortly before 18:15 older steer 35 came wandering along from the west and joined the others. Judging by his coat, he had been eating in some gorse bushes further along the hill.
The missing older steer 30 was found grazing around ///trouser.pranced.dome on the side of Sandy Hill at 18:25. The other cows had started to descend the hill and were soon reunited with him a short time later. The cows were all happy and relaxed and were all looking well.
The seven Sussex cows were found munching on heather down near the Bourley Road in the area around ///loopholes.dusty.grass down at 19:15. It has started to rain by now, but that wasn't putting them off. They were all happy and relaxed. Steer 197 and cow 211 both came and said hello.
The cows were all good today.
