Further to Tom's earlier update, the group of ten cows had made it to the Royal Pavilion end of the site and were spread out grazing in the area around ///fame.walks.risks at 14:55. Cows 72, 215 and 940 plus steers 20, 21, 35, 220, 222, 227 and 270 were all happy, relaxed and looking well.
Cows 214 and 234 plus steers 30, 217, 219, 228, 230 and 271 were spread out grazing in the area around ///cars.trips.joins at 15:20. The rain had really started to come down by now, but they all continued to eat happily.
Older steer 33 and Sussex cows 211 and 212 plus steers 197 and 210 were sheltering from the rain under the trees around ///blog.scar.dizzy at 15:40. When the rain was at its heaviest, I sheltered under the same tree as cow 211. She was very friendly and gave my hand a few licks while we waited for the rain to subside.
The final three Sussex cattle had found a lovely spot at the far east end of Sandy Hill around ///viewer.partied.flasks at 16:10. Cow 1396 plus steers 1626 and 1640 were lying down, relaxing and chewing their cud. Not only were they nice and dry, but they had a spectacular view.
The cows were all good today.
