Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Saturday 23rd December - All 19 seen

All nineteen cows were spread out in the area to the south-west of the Bourley Road car park around ///feasted.trials.truly at 09:40 this morning.  They were all happily grazing.  Most were eating heather and leaves from the various bushes.  Cow 72 was happily munching on her favourite holly leaves.  Several of the cows took big drinks from the various deep puddles in the area.

Most of the cows had made it to the area around ///face.realm.hushed an hour later where they continued to graze.  Cows 21, 217, 219, 230, 234, 270 and 271 were still eating heather a bit further back, but I'm sure they'd soon catch up.

Sadly, there was another burnt out car in the Bourley Road car park this morning.  It had been taped off by the Fire Brigade.

The cows were all good today.
