All twenty-five cows were found in the eastern section of the site from 10:10 this morning. They were well spread out in little groups from cow 940 and steer 33 in the area around ///doses.sweep.wishes to steers 21, 35, 222, 270 and 271 near ///hike.sides.stones. The three British Whites were grazing just off the main path around ///mouth.fire.code.
Most of the cows were happily munching on grass in the thicket. A few preferred to relax in the shade and chew their cud. They were all very friendly when I approached to check them. There were a lot of flies around again today. Youngster 219 had numerous flies around his eyes, and I noticed a small pink spot in the corner of his left eye (photo below). The blemish on youngster 228's face continues to heal and is becoming less noticeable. He still has a some swelling on the right side of his face, but it doesn't appear to be as bad as before. Hopefully, it will disappear completely.
The cows slowly moved east, down towards where the group of five steers were first found. It took until 11:20 to find steer 220 who had found a nice cool spot in the trees and bushes around ///race.ranks.deeply. The cows had started to lie down and relax under the trees when I left them just after 11:30.
The cows were all good today.
